The Raleigh Mayors Committee of Person's with Disabilities Award Banquet

The Mayor's Committee for Persons with Disabilities helps people with disabilities to participate in the economic and social life of the community. To this end, the committee promotes employment of people with disabilities and communicates their needs to local leaders and the public. The committee also sponsors activities benefiting people with disabilities and their families. Insightful Visionaries is honored to be a part of this annual banquet. Carolyn Covington is the chair of the awards banquet and has been for 3 years.

The game incorporates elements of both kickball and baseball, aiming to provide an exciting and accessible team sport for people who are blind or visually impaired. One of the key features of beep kickball is the use of beeping or buzzing balls and bases.
