These tailored sessions are crafted to enhance overall well- being, promote financial independence, encourage active community participation, and strengthen advocacy efforts. Led by expert instructors, each training will equip participants with the tools, knowledge, and confidence needed to thrive in their personal and professional lives.
Women & Wellness
This executive training program is designed to holistically support women within the disabled community, emphasizing their readiness for the workforce. The training covers essential aspects such as job preparation and professional attire guidance, ensuring participants are well-equipped to present themselves confidently in professional settings. Additionally, the program focuses on the mental, emotional, and physical health of participants, offering strategies tailored to address the unique challenges they face. Topics include self-care routines, such as grooming and hygiene, accessible fitness programs, stress management techniques, nutritional guidance, and resilience-building practices. Interactive workshops led by wellness experts, Carolyn Marshall Covington, alongside peer support sessions, will provide participants with both theoretical knowledge and practical tools to foster a balanced, healthy lifestyle that complements their career aspirations.
